In addition, by uploading your CV and providing your contact information on LiftmyCV, you authorise the platform to share such information with third parties who post job openings. These third parties, which may include employers and recruitment agencies, may use your information to contact you in connection with job offers for which you have applied or which they consider relevant to your professional profile. This authorization is essential for LiftmyCV to facilitate the connection between users and available job opportunities.

It is important to note that once your information is shared with third parties through LiftmyCV, their use of the information will be governed by their own privacy policies and terms of use, over which LiftmyCV has no control and assumes no responsibility. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of the third parties with whom you choose to interact.

Your communication preferences can be managed at any time through your account settings. However, certain notifications that are essential to the security of your account and the basic operation of the platform may not be disableableable.

It is your responsibility to keep your contact details updated and correct on the platform to ensure proper receipt of all communications. LiftmyCV assumes no responsibility for failure to receive important notifications or communications due to inaccuracy of the data provided by the user.

LiftmyCV offers three free Lifts for new users to experience the automation service. Additional Lifts are available for purchase and allow users to increase the scope of their automated job search.
• Access to Job Websites: The platform provides a page that facilitates access to various job search websites. From this page, users can activate Lifts to automatically search and apply to job openings that match their search criteria.
• Automation Control: Users have the flexibility to pause and resume the automation process at any time, allowing them to adjust their job search according to their needs and availability.
• Filling job applications: LiftmyCV uses artificial intelligence and ChatGPT to fulfil job applications, optimising the job application process and avoiding manual processing by the user.

This simplified and controllable process allows users to manage their job search efficiently, maximising the chances of finding a suitable position aligned with their skills and career goals.

Users of the LiftmyCV platform have the option to register and access their accounts through the web application (https://app.liftmycv.com/) using the “Sign up with Google” button . This method of registration and authentication facilitates the login process, allowing for easy and secure integration with existing Google accounts. By opting for this method, users authorise LiftmyCV to access certain basic data from their Google profile, such as name, email address and profile picture, necessary for the creation and personalisation of their account on our platform.

LiftmyCV ensures that no Google account passwords are stored, as the authentication process is handled securely by Google. The data obtained through this method is used exclusively to provide and improve the platform’s services, ensuring compliance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection regulations.

It is important that users maintain the security of their Google accounts, as any unauthorised access to these accounts may compromise the security of their profile on LiftmyCV. Users have the option to remove LiftmyCV from the Google account from the Google account settings. While this visual indicationis designed to encourage users to provide detailed information, it is important to note that the results presented are approximations and may not accurately reflect the actual success of automations.

Creating a complete profile on LiftmyCV is essential to maximise employment opportunities and ensure that automations work optimally. Users are encouraged to regularly review and update their profile to maintain its relevance and accuracy, thus contributing to a more effective experience on the platform.

To use the full functionalities of the LiftmyCV platform and ensure the correct synchronisation of automations, users must install the LiftmyCV Google Chrome extension in their browser. This extension is an essential component of the service, as it enables seamless integration between the platform and the various job search websites. The LiftmyCV extension is available for download from the Chrome Web Store.

By installing the extension, users authorise LiftmyCV to access certain browser functionalities necessary to run the automations efficiently. LiftmyCV ensures that the information collected through the extension is used solely to enhance the user experience and meet the objectives of the service, in full compliance with our privacy policies and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Users are advised to keep the LiftmyCV extension updated to ensure compatibility with the latest browser versions and to improve the security of the application. LiftmyCV undertakes not to access personal data beyond that provided by users and what is necessary for the operation of automations. On the LiftmyCV platform, automations are called ‘Lifts’. A Lift corresponds to the automatic sending of a curriculum vitae (CV) to a job offer on various job portals, including sites such as LinkedIn, Monster, BreezyHR, Workable, Lever, Ashby, Wellfound, Recruitee, Greenhouse, Glassdoor, among others. Users can configure and activate these automations according to their preferences by adjusting criteria such as keywords, location, and specific requirements from their profile page. Users also have the option to control how many Lifts (automations) should be performed and select a Lift limit.

It is important for users to understand that the use of complex or very specific keywords in the search fields can limit the effectiveness of the automations, as it restricts the opportunities available. Similarly, the application of additional filters, such as visa sponsorship or geographic location, may affect the number of results and the success rate of automations. Therefore, users are advised to use well-defined and realistic search criteria to maximise the benefits of Lifts.

LiftmyCV strives to provide an effective job search tool, but does not guarantee the quality of the automations or the results obtained. The effectiveness of a Lift can be influenced by several factors, including the completeness of the user’s profile, the quality of the CV provided, and the complexity of the job application forms on which CVs are submitted. For this reason, LiftmyCV assumes no responsibility for the effectiveness of CV submissions, as this is largely dependent on factors beyond the control of the platform.

Users are responsible for reviewing and maintaining the accuracy and quality of their profile and CV to ensure the best possible presentation to employers. LiftmyCV offers resources and guides to help users optimise their profiles and CVs, but the ultimate success of applications depends on the preparation and matching of these documents to the job offers being applied for.

For certain job platforms (such as Greenhouse.io) that require email-based verification, LiftmyCV’s automation may open your Gmail inbox (logged in as your profile email) via a secure direct link to locate and open the specific verification email containing the required code. This process uses a targeted search query and does not access, read, or store any other emails or inbox content. You will be prompted to enable or disable this feature the first time you use Greenhouse auto-apply, and you can change this setting at any time in your account settings.

Certain automation modes, including “Stealth Apply,” operate autonomously and may automatically submit job applications on behalf of the user using the information provided in their profile and resume. By enabling this mode, the user explicitly authorises LiftmyCV to act on their behalf for the sole purpose of submitting job applications. Users remain responsible for reviewing and managing all information included in their profile and application materials.

LiftmyCV’s automation tools may also generate customised resumes or application documents using artificial intelligence (AI) based on the information provided in the user’s profile and uploaded files. These generated materials are intended solely to assist in job applications and are stored within the user’s account for review. By using this functionality, the user authorises LiftmyCV to process their data to create and store AI-generated application materials. LiftmyCV is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. Users acknowledge that AI-generated materials may contain inaccuracies or formatting inconsistencies, and LiftmyCV shall not be liable for such errors.

LiftmyCV offers Lifts, automation credits that allow users to automatically submit their CVs to job offers across multiple job portals. New users receive 3 free Lifts to test the automation service. After that, users can continue using the service by purchasing a pay-as-you-go package or subscribing to a monthly plan, and may combine both options simultaneously to extend their Lift balance or access additional features.

Current pricing, Lift allocations, and included features are displayed within the user dashboard under the ‘Upgrade’ section and may vary depending on the user’s region or account type. LiftmyCV reserves the right to modify pricing, Lifts allocation, or features included in each package at any time. Adjustments may be made due to market changes, service improvements, or cost structure updates.

All purchases of Lifts are subject to the LiftmyCV Refund Policy available on our website.

Promotions & coupon codes LiftmyCV offers promotional codes (coupon codes), powered by Stripe, which provide limited-time discounts. These codes:

• Have seasonal or limited availability
• Can be disabled at any time by LiftmyCV
• Expire automatically after a set period

However, users may experience technical problems or interruptions arising from the use of these third-party services. These problems may include, but are not limited to, errors in shipping automation, inconsistencies in the information generated, or failures in the functionality of the third-party services. LiftmyCV assumes no responsibility for the resolution of these problems or the timeframe in which they may be resolved, as they are beyond our direct control.

In particular, LiftmyCV uses the ChatGPT API provided by OpenAI to enhance certain functionalities, such as writing cover letters and completing job applications on third-party websites, so that job seekers can avoid manual work. However, the use of this technology may not always produce satisfactory results, and there may be delays or interruptions in service. LiftmyCV does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability or continued availability of ChatGPT services, and cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction or inconvenience that may arise from the use of these services.

It is important to note that success in the job search depends on numerous factors, including the candidate’s suitability for the job requirements, competition in the job market, and decisions made by employers. LiftmyCV does not and cannot guarantee that a job will be obtained through the use of its platform and is not responsible for the results of applications submitted through its automations.

In summary, LiftmyCV provides tools and services to assist in the job search, but the ultimate responsibility for the use and results obtained lies with the users. Users are advised to use these tools as part of a comprehensive job search strategy and to consider other factors and resources in their job search process.

LiftmyCV grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive licence to use the LiftmyCV platform, including use of the LiftmyCV website, web application and Google Chrome extension, and modified versions, updates, upgrades, enhancements, extensions, additions and copies of the platform, if any. This licence is for the sole purpose of allowing you to use the features available on the platform in the manner permitted by these terms.

The user agrees not to use the platform negligently, for fraudulent purposes or in an unlawful manner. Likewise, the user agrees not to partake in any conduct or action that could damage the image, interests, or rights of the LiftmyCV platform or third parties.

LiftmyCV reserves the right to terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, and without liability to you, if LiftmyCV believes that you have violated any provision contained in these terms.

All the content available on the platform, including, without limitation, names, logos, trademarks, images, text, columns, graphics, videos, photographs, illustrations, software and other elements are protected by copyrights, trademarks and/or other intellectual property rights owned and controlled by LiftmyCV or by third parties that have licensed or otherwise provided their material to the platform. You acknowledge and agree that all Materials on LiftmyCV are made available for limited, non-commercial, personal use only. Except as specifically provided herein. No material may be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, downloaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, or otherwise used for any purpose, by any person or entity, without LiftmyCV prior express written permission. You may not add, delete, distort, or otherwise modify the material. Any unauthorised attempt to modify any material, to defeat or circumvent any security features, or to utilise LiftmyCV or any part of the material for any purpose other than its intended purposes is strictly prohibited.

LiftmyCV will respond to all enquiries, complaints and claims relating to alleged infringement by breach or violation of the provisions contained in UK and international copyright and intellectual property laws and regulations. LiftmyCV respects the intellectual property of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe, in good faith, that any material provided on the website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please submit your request via our contact information, with the following information:

• Identification of the intellectual property right that is allegedly infringed. All relevant registration numbers or a statement regarding ownership of the work should be included.

• Deep-link to any portion of the services for any purpose without our express written permission.
• “Frame”, “mirror” or otherwise incorporate any part of the platform into any other platform or service without our prior written authorisation.
• Attempt to modify, translate, adapt, edit, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any software program used by LiftmyCV.
• Circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the platform or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any content.
• Misuse of the referral program, including but not limited to creating multiple accounts, self-referring, or coordinating with others solely to generate referral bonuses. LiftmyCV reserves the right to deny bonuses, revoke previously awarded bonuses, and suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in referral abuse.

Except as provided above we can give no other warranties, conditions or other terms, express or implied, statutory or otherwise and all such terms are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. You will be responsible for any breach of these terms by you and if you use the platform in breach of these terms you will be liable to and will reimburse LiftmyCV for any loss or damage caused as a result. LiftmyCV shall not be liable for any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this Agreement if such failure is due to the occurrence of any unforeseen event beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, Internet outages, communications outages, fire, flood, or any uncontrollable act of nature. Subject as aforesaid, to the maximum extent permitted by law, LiftmyCV excludes liability for any loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, including without limitation any direct, indirect or consequential loss whether or not such arises out of any problem you notify to LiftmyCV and LiftmyCV shall have no liability to pay any money by way of compensation, including without limitation all liability in relation to:

• Any incorrect or inaccurate information on the platform.
• The infringement by any person of any Intellectual property rights of any third party caused by their use of the platform.
• Any loss or damage resulting from your use or the inability to use the platform or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
• Any loss of profit, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
• Any amount or kind of loss or damage due to viruses or other malicious software that may infect a user’s computer equipment, software, data or other property caused by persons accessing or using content from the platform or from transmissions via emails or attachments received from LiftmyCV.
• All representations, warranties, conditions and other terms which but for this notice would have effect.

LiftmyCV provides its automation tools (“Lifts”) strictly for personal and reasonable use related to individual job searching. To maintain fair access and platform stability, users must not:

• Run LiftmyCV on remote servers, virtual machines, or cloud platforms (such as VPS, VDS, or similar environments) that allow continuous or large-scale automated usage.
• Use LiftmyCV for mass job applications, mass messaging, or resume distribution on behalf of third parties, recruitment agencies, or organizations.
• Operate a single account to process applications for multiple individuals or for any commercial or recruitment-related purposes.

To ensure sustainable performance and protect user accounts from potential restrictions, LiftmyCV may implement technical and operational measures at any time. These may include short delays between automated actions to simulate natural user behaviour, rate limits to reduce detection risks on external job platforms, or the use of alternative AI models (including smaller or lower-cost OpenAI models) to maintain system stability and efficiency. Such adjustments may be applied automatically and without prior notice to the user, and they do not affect the overall functionality of the platform. LiftmyCV always aims to provide a consistent and reliable experience for all users.

LiftmyCV will not accept any responsibility for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, for any breakdown, failure, connection or availability of computer, telephone, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software, for Internet accessibility or availability or traffic congestion or for any unauthorised human acts, including any errors or mistakes.

You agree to defend and indemnify LiftmyCV from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of:

• Your breach of this agreement or the documents referenced herein.
• Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
• Your use of the LiftmyCV platform.

We may change the platform and these terms at any time, in our sole discretion and without notice to you. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about these terms. Your continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of any changes to these terms and any changes will supersede all previous versions of the terms. Unless otherwise specified herein, all changes to these terms apply to all users take effect.

This agreement together with the privacy policy and any other legal notices published by LiftmyCV, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and LiftmyCV concerning and governs your use of the platform.

If any section of these terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired. Our failure to enforce or delay in enforcing any provision of these terms at any time does not waive our right to enforce the same or any other provision in the future.

LiftmyCV shall not be liable for any failure due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of civil authorities, acts of military authorities, riots, acts of nature and natural disasters, and other acts which may be due to unforeseen circumstances.

Both the user and LiftmyCV acknowledge that failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in termination of the agreement between both parties.

In case of non-compliance by the user: If the user fails to comply with any of the terms set forth in these terms and conditions, LiftmyCV reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the user’s access to and use of the platform. LiftmyCV may take this action without prior notice, and the user will automatically lose all rights to access and use the platform. Furthermore, LiftmyCV shall not be liable for any loss of data or information associated with the user’s account.

In case of non-compliance by LiftmyCV: If LiftmyCV fails to comply with its obligations under the agreed terms and conditions, the user shall be entitled to terminate the agreement and stop using the platform. The user shall notify LiftmyCV in writing of the breach and allow a reasonable time for LiftmyCV to remedy the situation. If LiftmyCV does not remedy the breach within the set period, the user may proceed with the termination of the agreement. Please note that refunds will only be made according to our refund policy (see our refund policy) and in case of uncorrected errors that make it impossible for users to use the platform, they will be considered by LiftmyCV on a case-by-case basis. Termination of the agreement shall not release either party from any obligations and liabilities that have arisen prior to the date of termination. Continued use of the platform after termination of the agreement by either party shall imply acceptance of the conditions set forth in the terms and conditions in effect at that time.

You acknowledge and agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, whether for breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity, as well as any aspect of the use of the platform, shall preferably be resolved by binding arbitration between you and LiftmyCV. However, the right of both parties to bring individual claims before a court of competent jurisdiction if deemed necessary remains.

In the event of any dispute arising in connection with the use of the platform or breach of these terms and conditions, both parties agree to seek a solution through an arbitration process. This process will be carried out before a recognised and respected arbitration entity, selected by mutual agreement of both parties and following the applicable commercial arbitration rules.

In addition, the user agrees, to the extent permitted by applicable law, not to initiate, join or participate in class action lawsuits associated with any claim, dispute or controversy that may arise in connection with the use of the platform. This commitment seeks to promote a more agile and personalised resolution of any conflict, favouring arbitration and individual legal actions over collective proceedings.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any dispute relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. This applies unless binding arbitration is agreed in the relevant section.

Account Deletion: Users may request the deletion of their LiftmyCV account at any time by submitting a deletion request to [email protected] . Once received, LiftmyCV will review and process the request within 24–48 hours. Upon confirmation, the user’s personal data and uploaded materials will be permanently deleted from LiftmyCV’s systems, except for information that must be retained for legal, security, or accounting purposes. Account deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
