Junior System Administrator
On-siteAt Intelic, we build advanced software for unmanned systems in the defense sector. Based in Amsterdam — with a second office in Kyiv — we are a fast-growing team of engineers and domain experts developing Nexus — an intelligence platform that gives unmanned systems the speed, coordination, and reliability that critical missions demand. Why this role exists We're moving away from a cloud-first setup towards a largely self-hosted, on-premise environment. That's a deliberate choice — it means owning and securing our own infrastructure instead of clicking through someone else's SaaS admin panel — but it also means a significant jump in maintenance work across roughly 20 servers and 80–100 users. As we grow, IT support and infrastructure maintenance have outgrown what one person can reasonably cover. We're hiring a Junior IT Support Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of day-to-day, user-level support, so our senior sysadmin can focus on infrastructure — while you grow into a genuine partner on servers, infrastructure, and security. You'll join a small, mixed infrastructure and security team, right as we build a modern, self-hosted environment from the ground up. There's real room here to learn, experiment, and grow. What success looks like in your first year User-level tech support runs independently — onboarding, offboarding, day-to-day issues — without needing to escalate the basics You can independently start and drive the troubleshooting process on server and infrastructure issues On the security side, you're able to reliably tell a true positive from a false positive You've contributed hands-on to our cloud-to-on-premise migration, not just observed it What you will own Provide user-level tech support in a technical environment — you're the first point of contact so our senior sysadmin isn't Handle onboarding and offboarding of users and their equipment Contribute to infrastructure and server maintenance, and act as a fallback and sparring partner for our senior sysadmin on routine server work Support the security team in day-to-day operations, including triaging alerts Get hands-on involvement in our cloud-to-on-premise migration Bring your own ideas — if you spot something worth improving or building, you'll be expected to scope a proof of concept and given the ownership to implement it You will thrive here if You have genuine eagerness to learn and enthusiasm for the work — this matters more to us than where you studied You prefer open source solutions over a large Microsoft stack You have 0–2 years of experience in tech support, help desk, or a junior sysadmin role — ideally backed by an IT-related MBO or university-level education You've got a home lab or personal projects you've built and can talk about in depth — we'd genuinely love to hear about them, and we care far more about this than certifications You have a good theoretical understanding of network infrastructure and protocols You're security-minded: "it just works" isn't good enough for you — it needs to be secure, or it doesn't ship Fluent English is a must; Dutch fluency is a plus Why join Intelic Real ownership. As one of only a few people working on IT and security, your ideas will have direct input on shaping how we're built A genuinely modern stack. You won't be managing someone else's Microsoft environment — you'll help build our infrastructure from scratch, with the technical challenges that come with that Growth stage momentum. You're joining right as we build this out, with a clear path to grow beyond user-level support into infrastructure and security What we offer Stock Appreciation Rights programme A vibrant office at NDSM Plein, Amsterdam Noord — where we come together in person every day Flexible pension plan 25 vacation days Travel allowance Urban Sports corporate membership Lease a Bike option Please note that, as part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation throughout this process.

HRBP
On-siteWe're looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our high-performing People team. You'll partner closely with leaders in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where ideas are challenged and standards are high. Our leaders are intellectually curious, analytical, and expect to understand the rationale behind decisions — so success depends on credibility, sound judgement, and the ability to influence through reasoning rather than authority. As a company, we are on an ambitious growth journey, in which people and AI play a key role. In this role, you work on both. Not only will you drive success via people, you will be facilitated (and expected) to leverage AI in everything you do. You take ownership, build credibility quickly, are self-aware and curious, and contribute from day one. You'll report to the Head of HR for Europe based in Amsterdam. What you'll do Partner with leaders across the full employee lifecycle — organisational design, performance, talent, succession, workforce planning, employee relations and compensation. Build and execute the workforce plan for your area, aligned to our global people plan. Bring analytical rigour to performance and compensation cycles, calibration and talent decisions. Coach and challenge leaders to make better people decisions, balancing business outcomes with long-term organisational health. Spot people risks and opportunities early and help leaders navigate them before they escalate. Lead complex employee relations and sensitive contractual matters (including non-compete management), ensuring fairness, consistency and legal compliance. Drive the local engagement agenda, turning survey, onboarding and exit data into measurable actions that improve retention and experience. Explore data, automation, and AI to improve HR effectiveness. Act as the connector between your stakeholder groups and the wider People team, and contribute to global initiatives and cross-regional projects. Who you are 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced environment; Trading industry a plus. Strong track record of partnering with senior leaders and influencing without formal authority. Broad HR remit — organisational change, talent, performance and employee relations. You have deep experience with AI, and delivered concrete results by using it. Strong analytical skills; able to translate data into practical insight. Comfortable navigating complexity, competing priorities and challenging stakeholder dynamics. Commercial curiosity and genuine interest in how businesses operate. Sound judgement, resilience, and willingness to have difficult conversations. Track record of proactively identifying opportunities and solving problems rather than waiting for direction. Already based in the Netherlands; fluent in English (Dutch a plus). What Great Looks Like You earn a seat at the table. You position yourself as a clear business partner and peer to your leaders. You understand the commercial context, connect people decisions to business outcomes and spot risks early. Leaders seek out your input to inform their decisions. You have sound judgement and the courage to use it. You form independent views and communicate them clearly. You balance principle with pragmatism — knowing when consistency matters and when flexibility is warranted. You know when to push, when to influence, and when to adapt your approach without compromising on what matters, reaching desired outcomes without unnecessary complexity. You create clarity in ambiguity. You're comfortable with incomplete information, helping leaders frame problems, weigh options and move forward. You learn fast and become effective without needing every answer upfront. You build trust. You invest in relationships before you need them: approachable, reliable, and genuinely curious about how others see things. You're not after comfortable relationships — you build enough trust to challenge assumptions, disagree when needed, and have the difficult conversations that lead to better outcomes. Who we are At Optiver, our mission is to constantly improve the market by injecting liquidity, providing accurate pricing, increasing transparency and acting as a stabilizing force no matter the market conditions. With a focus on continuous improvement, we participate in the safeguarding of healthy and efficient markets for everyone who participates. Give them the right home, strip out the friction, and hold everyone to a clear, non-negotiable bar, AI first within a framework where everyone understands what they are expected to deliver: tangible, non-negotiable outcomes. Take ownership. Build the performance engine: Give everyone total clarity on what they own, what great looks like, and how their impact is measured, so high performance becomes the natural outcome. AI-first operations: Engineer the outcome of full internal toolstack. Ruthlessly drive AI adoption, not by layering AI on top of existing processes, but by redesigning systems from the ground up to be AI-native. Where automation is the right answer, automate. Where the process itself is broken, rebuild it. Eliminate organizational friction and maximize Profit per Employee, the primary north star this role is measured against. Office excellence at scale: Keep all offices stocked, operational, and disruption-free. Stay ahead of space, tooling, and process needs as bunq expands internationally, delivering high-performance working environments on time and on budget. This challenge is perfect for you if: Has designed and rolled out a performance framework (ownerships, OKRs, or equivalent) across organization, clear ownership per person, measurable result driven KPIs, and a track record of acting decisively when the bar isn't met. Employees know what they own, how they're measured, and what success looks like AI-native operator: defaults to redesigning systems from scratch to be AI-first, not just automating what already exists. Has driven measurable AI adoption across an organization and connected it directly to outcome per person. Obsessive bottleneck hunter: consistently identifies the #1 constraint that slows the organization down, whether it's a broken process, the wrong tool, or missing ownership, and eliminates it with speed, precision, and measurable results. Sharp operational executor: manages budgets, office environments, and organizational infrastructure with precision. Every euro is justified by impact on Profit per Employee. Senior Cloud Software Engineer
HybridYour software supports surgeons in the operating room At Augmedit, we develop cloud technology and augmented reality software that helps surgeons plan and perform procedures. Our platform transforms medical imaging (DICOM/NIfTI) into interactive 3D anatomical models that are visualized before and during surgery using augmented reality. Our software is CE-marked and FDA-cleared and is used on real patients, in real procedures, where quality, reliability, and usability truly matter. For an engineer, the interesting part lies behind every 3D visualization: a secure Azure cloud platform that processes medical imaging, integrates AI capabilities, generates patient-specific anatomical models, and delivers them to web applications and augmented reality devices used in the operating room. We're a small team, around 15–20 people, of whom about 5 are software engineers. You'll inherit a solid, proven architecture. The interesting problem is what comes next: extending it for new AI capabilities, imaging workflows, and scale, without breaking a platform that surgeons rely on. In a regulated environment, deliberate evolution beats big rewrites. You'll work on challenging technical problems using modern cloud technologies while helping build software that makes a meaningful impact in healthcare. The role We're looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Software Engineer / Architect to help design, build, and evolve the cloud platform that powers all of our products. Not one of several backend engineers: the backend engineer, with full architectural ownership. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining software architecture with hands-on engineering. You'll help shape the technical direction of our platform while still writing code, solving difficult problems, and building software that matters. You'll work closely with our CTO, Head of Product, fellow software engineers and clinical specialists to make the architectural decisions that keep our platform secure, scalable, and ready for what's next. The breadth of this role is real, not a wishlist. One day you might be translating a new product feature into a scalable cloud architecture; the next, improving a CI/CD pipeline, optimizing a database query, designing the infrastructure behind an AI capability, or helping integrate a new imaging workflow. If you enjoy working across services, cloud infrastructure, deployment, security, and data rather than staying within a single specialty, you'll feel right at home. Your responsibilities The architecture of our cloud platform — the decisions that make the difference between a codebase that scales cleanly and one that fights you in two years. Our C# services and functions, and how they talk to data and to the frontend. Infrastructure-as-code and deployment — how the platform is provisioned, shipped, and kept secure and reliable. The security posture of the platform, in a domain where that isn't optional. Raising the engineering bar: testability, maintainability, and the kind of structure that lets a small team punch above its weight Compliance by design: ensuring the architecture and development practices meet our quality and regulatory requirements (IEC 62304 / ISO 13485), working closely with our RA/QA managers. Technical guidance and mentorship promoting knowledge sharing across the team. What we're looking for Core, this is the job: Strong, senior-level C# across services and functions. Entity Framework and solid data / database design ( SQL ). Hands-on Azure experience — you're comfortable owning cloud resources, not just consuming them. The judgment that comes with seniority: you can own architecture end-to-end and defend your decisions. Experience with building software in a regulated or safety-critical environment. Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) (IEC 62304 / ISO13485) strongly preferred. You’ll own an architecture that has to satisfy design controls from day one. Platform, this ground is yours: Bicep or comparable infrastructure-as-code. Azure DevOps pipelines / CI-CD. Azure networking. OWASP and a security-conscious mindset. C4 or another disciplined approach to communicating architecture. Azure DevOps administration — user access, permissions, and security controls for our DevOps organization. Bonus, genuinely nice to have: DICOM format / transport experience is a real head start, though learnable for a strong senior engineer. Vue 3 and TypeScript (our frontend) — useful if you like reaching across the stack, but this is a backend-centered role. Python (we use it for AI and release tooling). Language: High proficiency in English is required. Dutch is a plus What we offer Opportunities for professional growth, technical training, and Microsoft Azure certification. A flexible working environment with a healthy balance between remote work, our Amsterdam office and one day a week in our engineering office in Amersfoort Netherlands, to collaborate, synchronize, and connect with colleagues. Competitive employment conditions. Even if you don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you. If this role excites you, please apply.

"For Netherlands roles in 2026, the common thread is clarity: employers tend to read for practical scope, work authorization fit, language expectations, and whether a candidate can operate across international teams. On a broad jobs page like this, the resume has to travel well across functions without becoming vague. Dutch-market applications usually benefit from concise role context, clear location or remote preferences, and evidence that the candidate understands cross-border collaboration."

How to Land a Job in the Netherlands in 2026
For jobs in the Netherlands, your application needs to show where you fit in the local hiring mix, not just that you’re open to working there. Employers may be hiring across several lanes, including engineering, product, operations, finance, customer support, sales, marketing, design, data, compliance, and research. Pick the lane that matches your background and make that direction clear from the first few lines of your application.
Work authorization, language expectations, and location flexibility matter in the Netherlands. If you already live in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Eindhoven, or another Dutch city, say so plainly. If you’re applying from abroad, be specific about relocation timing, visa status, and whether you can work hybrid or on-site. For English-speaking roles, note any Dutch ability without overstating it. For Dutch-language roles, your written application should reflect the level requested in the listing.
- Engineering and data roles: emphasize the stack, product domain, cloud tools, data platforms, security exposure, and any experience working with distributed teams in Europe.
- Product, design, and growth roles: connect your work to shipped features, user research, experimentation, conversion, marketplaces, SaaS, fintech, logistics, health, or other relevant product areas.
- Operations, support, and customer-facing roles: highlight process ownership, ticketing systems, service quality, multilingual communication, scheduling, vendor coordination, or experience supporting EMEA customers.
- Finance, legal, compliance, and people roles: focus on regulated environments, reporting, payroll, contracts, GDPR, audit processes, or cross-border employment topics where they match the job description.
Search strategy should be disciplined. Separate remote, hybrid, and on-site Netherlands jobs before applying, then prioritize listings where your role lane, seniority, language profile, and work authorization are already close to the stated requirements. LiftmyCV helps you find jobs in Netherlands jobs that match your skills, experience, and preferred work style, then auto-apply to relevant roles faster.
Required Skills
Resume Tips
For jobs in Netherlands, keep the resume practical and location-aware. Put your city or relocation plan near the top, along with work authorization, notice period, and language level, especially Dutch and English. For Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, or remote Netherlands roles, employers often need to see whether you can work locally, hybrid, or fully remote without guessing.
What you highlight should match the function. Product and project roles should show launches, Jira or Confluence ownership, stakeholder coordination, and delivery scope. Sales and customer roles should name CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot, pipeline work, renewal activity, or support volume. Finance, operations, and compliance resumes should include Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, audit support, controls, reporting, or process improvement. Technical roles can include GitHub, cloud platforms, testing tools, APIs, and shipped systems, but don’t let tool lists replace evidence.
Cut vague summaries, old coursework, and bullets that only describe duties. A weak bullet says: “Responsible for customer support and admin tasks.” A stronger Netherlands job bullet says: “Handled 45 weekly B2B support cases in English and Dutch, updated HubSpot records, and reduced repeat follow-ups by improving invoice response templates.”
Use 2026 dates consistently, keep formatting simple, and make each bullet show the tool, task, and result where possible.
How to Prepare for Interviews
For Jobs in Netherlands in 2026, interview prep should match the role lane rather than one standard script. Engineering candidates may face a coding screen, API discussion, or system design prompt such as explaining how they would scale a payments workflow. Product and analytics applicants should prepare case studies with metrics, tradeoffs, and clear decision points, not just feature lists. Design roles often include portfolio reviews where the interviewer asks why a user flow changed, what research shaped it, and how results were measured.
Operations, support, compliance, and partnerships interviews usually lean on scenario questions. Expect prompts about handling a delayed rollout, responding to a customer escalation, reviewing a process risk, or managing a partner conversation across Dutch or broader European stakeholders. Build examples with a simple structure: the business context, the constraint, the action you took, and the measurable result. If a role mentions remote or hybrid work in the Netherlands, prepare one example showing how you worked across locations, time zones, or cross-functional teams without losing ownership.
