What your profile includes
Your job seeker profile may include:
- Personal details
- Email and phone number
- LinkedIn URL
- Website URL
- Location and residency details
- Work experience
- Professional summary
- Education
- Courses and certifications
- Languages
- Skills

The more complete your profile is, the better LiftmyCV can personalize your job search and applications.
Profile completion score
LiftmyCV shows a profile completion score to help you understand how ready your profile is for AI automation.
A higher completion score can improve:
- AI job matching
- Resume quality
- Cover letter quality
- Autofill accuracy
- Auto-apply performance
If your profile is incomplete, LiftmyCV may suggest missing sections such as work experience, education, languages, skills, achievements, or resume file.
Multiple job seeker profiles
LiftmyCV supports multiple job seeker profiles depending on your plan.
Multiple profiles are useful if you want to apply for different roles with different positioning.
For example, you may create separate profiles for:
- Chief Marketing Officer
- Head of Growth
- Product Marketing Manager
- Web3 Marketing Lead
- Customer Success Manager
- Data Analyst
Each profile can have its own resume, target roles, skills, profile data, and application history.
Profile actions
Inside Job Seeker Profiles, you can:
- Update your profile
- Rename your profile
- Delete your profile
- Create a new profile
- Export your profile as a resume
- Download your resume in PDF format
- Download your resume in DOCX format
Be careful when deleting a profile. Deleted profile data and related auto-apply history may not be recoverable.
AI Autofill from resume file
AI Autofill helps you create your job seeker profile faster.
You can upload your resume file and let AI extract your career information automatically.
Supported file formats may include:
- DOC
- DOCX
AI Autofill can extract:
- Name
- Contact details
- Work experience
- Education
- Skills
- Certifications
- Professional summary
- Other career details
Your first resume-to-profile AI Autofill may be free. After that, it may require Lifts.
AI Autofill from pasted resume or LinkedIn text
If you are using mobile or do not have a resume file ready, you can paste text instead.
You can copy and paste text from:
- Your resume
- Your LinkedIn profile
- A career bio
- Another professional profile
- A plain text document
LiftmyCV will use the pasted text to autofill your job seeker profile and prepare your resume in PDF and DOCX formats.
For best results, make sure the text includes:
- Work experience
- Education
- Skills
- Contact details
- Certifications
- Achievements
Mobile experience

On mobile, you can use:
- AI Matches
- First Apply
- Stealth Apply
- Resume-to-Profile
- Resume Generator
- Cover Letter Generator
- Job Board
- Auto-Apply History
- Job Application Tracker
- Account settings

Mobile is especially useful for AI Matches. You can swipe through jobs, skip irrelevant roles, and apply with AI from your phone.
Full-scale browser-based auto-apply requires desktop Chrome and the LiftmyCV Chrome extension.
Desktop experience
Desktop gives you access to the full LiftmyCV automation system.
On desktop, you can use everything available on mobile, plus:
- Chrome extension based autofill
- Non-stop Auto-Apply
- Custom Apply
- Auto-Apply Queue processing
- Autopilot mode
- Copilot mode
- AI Agent Autorun
- Supported ATS and job board automation
For best performance, use Google Chrome with the official LiftmyCV Chrome extension installed.
Chrome extension
The LiftmyCV Chrome extension lets the AI agent operate inside your browser.
It is required for full-scale browser-based auto-apply.
The extension helps LiftmyCV:
- Detect supported ATS platforms and job boards
- Open job pages
- Fill application forms
- Upload resumes
- Answer application questions
- Submit applications
- Run Non-stop Auto-Apply
- Run Custom Apply
- Process the Auto-Apply Queue
- Offer auto-apply on supported job pages
The Chrome extension is not required for AI Matches, First Apply, or Stealth Apply when those features run through LiftmyCV cloud systems.
AI Agent Autorun
AI Agent Autorun is a Chrome extension setting that helps LiftmyCV detect supported job pages while you browse.
When enabled, the AI agent and Chrome extension can automatically offer auto-apply when you visit supported ATS platforms and job boards.
For supported ATS platforms, LiftmyCV can offer auto-apply on compatible application flows.
For job boards such as LinkedIn, Monster, Wellfound, and Glassdoor, automation works best with Easy Apply or native quick-apply jobs available directly on those platforms. Jobs that redirect to external websites, company career pages, or unsupported ATS platforms may not be completed through job board automation.
Supported platforms may include:
- Lever
- Greenhouse
- Workable
- Ashby
- Recruitee
- SmartRecruiters
- BreezyHR
- Workday
- Monster
- Wellfound
- Glassdoor
Supported platforms may vary by feature.
Use AI Agent Autorun if you want LiftmyCV to detect supported job pages automatically and offer AI auto-apply while you browse.
Account
The Account section includes your personal account settings and product preferences.
Inside Account, you can manage:
- User name and email
- Logout
- Companies to Ignore
- AI Agent Autorun
- Email preferences
- Gmail access for Greenhouse
- Billing settings
- Payments and invoices
- Account deletion
Companies to Ignore
Companies to Ignore lets you exclude specific companies from AI auto-apply.
Add a company name if you do not want LiftmyCV to apply to jobs from that employer.
Use this feature to avoid:
- Your current employer
- Former employers
- Companies you already applied to
- Competitors
- Companies you are not interested in
- Companies where you do not want AI to submit applications
The AI agent will skip ignored companies during supported auto-apply workflows.
You can update this list anytime in Account settings.
Email preferences
Email preferences let you choose which emails you want to receive from LiftmyCV.
You may control:
- Onboarding emails
- Product updates and newsletters
Some system emails cannot be disabled because they are required for account functionality, billing, security, or service notifications.
Gmail access for Greenhouse
Some Greenhouse applications may require email verification during auto-apply sessions.
When this happens, LiftmyCV will first make several attempts to complete the application without using a verification code. If verification is still required and you have granted Gmail access, LiftmyCV can automatically open Gmail in the same Chrome browser, find the Greenhouse confirmation email, retrieve the verification code or confirmation link, and continue the application process without manual copy-pasting.
To use this feature, make sure you are logged in to Gmail in the same browser where the LiftmyCV Chrome extension is running. The Gmail account should match the email address used in your LiftmyCV job seeker profile.
This feature only works when applying through the Chrome extension. It is not available for background auto-apply workflows such as AI Matches or Stealth Apply.
Payments and invoices
The Payments & Invoices section lets you manage billing settings and review payment records.
You can use it to:
- Manage billing settings
- Review plan payments
- Review Lift purchases
- Access billing-related actions
For invoices or receipts, use the billing settings area or contact support.
AI Matches
AI Matches is a swipe-based job matching experience.
LiftmyCV analyzes job descriptions and compares them with your job seeker profile and resume. You can review jobs one by one and decide whether to skip or apply.
How AI Matches works:
- LiftmyCV finds jobs that match your profile
- You review each job in a swipe-style interface
- Swipe left or select Skip to hide irrelevant jobs
- Swipe right or select Auto-Apply with AI to apply
- LiftmyCV processes selected applications through cloud systems
- Results appear in Auto-Apply History
AI Matches can work without the Chrome extension.
When you apply through AI Matches, LiftmyCV may:
- Fill job application forms
- Generate a job-specific resume
- Generate a job-specific cover letter
- Submit the application
- Log the result in Auto-Apply History
Your free Lifts let you try AI Matches before upgrading.
AI Matches filters
AI Matches includes filters such as:
- Employment type
- Country
- City
- Resume per Job
- AI accuracy
- Match by
Use filters to control which jobs appear in your AI Matches flow.
Be careful with very narrow filters. If your filters are too strict, you may see fewer matches.
AI Match score
AI Match score shows how closely a job matches your profile and resume.
The score is based on how relevant the job description is to your background, skills, experience, and preferences.
Recommended starting point: 50% to 70%.
Higher thresholds such as 80% or 90% may reduce the number of available matches and opportunities.
Search accuracy modes
LiftmyCV may support different search accuracy modes depending on the feature.
Broad Match searches for keywords in both job titles and job descriptions.
Exact Match searches job titles only.
AI Match analyzes job descriptions and compares them with your profile and resume.
Use Broad Match if you want more opportunities.
Use Exact Match if you want tighter title matching.
Use AI Match if you want the system to compare each job against your profile.
Match by
AI Matches may allow you to match jobs by different criteria such as skills.
Use Match by Skills when you want LiftmyCV to prioritize jobs that align with your skill set.
Resume per Job
Resume per Job is an optional AI feature.
When enabled, LiftmyCV can generate a tailored resume for each job application.
The AI may adjust:
- Keywords
- Target role alignment
- Professional summary
- Skills
- Experience positioning
- ATS relevance
LiftmyCV does not invent fake experience. It improves positioning based on your real profile and career history.
Resume per Job may require additional Lifts because it uses extra AI processing.
Cover Letter per Job
Cover Letter per Job is an optional AI feature inside supported auto-apply workflows.
When enabled, LiftmyCV can generate a customized cover letter for each job application during AI auto-apply.
The AI uses:
- Your job seeker profile
- Your resume
- The target job description
- Your experience and skills
Use this if you want each AI application to include a more personalized cover letter.
Cover Letter per Job may require additional Lifts because it uses extra AI processing.
Job Board
The Job Board lets you browse job openings directly inside LiftmyCV.
You can use it to:
- Search jobs
- Filter by profile
- Filter by role
- Filter by country
- Filter by city
- Review job details
- Read AI job summaries
- Add jobs to the Auto-Apply Queue
- Apply with AI
- Hide jobs
- Report jobs
- Browse multiple pages of jobs
The Job Board helps you combine manual browsing with AI automation.
Job Board filters

You can refine jobs by:
- Profile
- Role
- Country
- City

- Other available filters
If you see too few jobs, broaden your filters.
Job details page
When you open a job, LiftmyCV may show:
- Job title
- Company name
- Location
- Work type
- Salary, if available
- Job description
- AI job summary
- AI match score
- Report this job button
- Auto-Apply with AI button
- Hide this job button
- Third-party content disclaimer
The AI job summary helps you quickly understand what the role is about without reading the full job description.
Third-party content disclaimer
Jobs shown in LiftmyCV may be sourced from third-party ATS platforms, job boards, and recruitment platforms.
LiftmyCV does not own this content and cannot guarantee that every listing is always accurate or still active.
If you find an issue, use Report this job.
Auto-Apply with AI from Job Board
From the Job Board, you can apply to selected jobs with AI.
Depending on your device, plan, and feature availability, LiftmyCV may process the application through:
- Cloud-based autonomous auto-apply
- Chrome extension based auto-apply
- Manual apply fallback
If an application cannot be completed, LiftmyCV may restore deducted Lifts when applicable and log the failure.
Auto-Apply
The Auto-Apply section includes several automation modes:
Each mode is designed for a different workflow.
Use Non-stop Auto-Apply for large-scale desktop automation.
Use First & Stealth Apply for fresh 24-hour jobs and autonomous cloud applications.
Use Auto-Apply Queue to collect jobs and process them later.
Use Custom Apply when you want to run AI on supported job boards using your own filters.
Non-stop Auto-Apply
Non-stop Auto-Apply is an AI-powered agent that runs through the Chrome extension in your browser.
It can apply to jobs at scale while you sleep or work.
Use Non-stop Auto-Apply when you want to automate a large number of applications across supported ATS platforms and job boards.

Multiple roles in Non-stop Auto-Apply
Non-stop Auto-Apply can support multiple target roles.
For example, you can add:
- Social Media Marketing Manager
- Community Manager
- Content Creator
- Product Marketing Manager
- Growth Marketing Manager
The AI agent will search based on your selected roles and filters.
Use realistic role titles. Extremely broad or unrelated roles may reduce match quality.
Non-stop Auto-Apply filters
Non-stop Auto-Apply includes filters such as:
- Employment type
- Country
- City
- AI agent mode
- Date posted
- Search accuracy
- Resume per Job
- Continuous Run
- Auto-Apply Limit per Session
These settings control how the AI agent searches and applies.
Employment type
Employment type controls what kind of work you are looking for.
Examples may include:
- Full-time
- Part-time
- Contract
- Internship
- Remote
- Hybrid
- On-site
- Any
Select Any if you want broader results.
Country and city
Country and city filters limit where LiftmyCV searches.
Use country and city filters if you are targeting a specific location.
Select Any if you want broader coverage.
Some platforms may require a target country to run auto-apply correctly.
Date posted
Date posted limits results by how recently jobs were published.
Examples may include:
- Past 24 hours
- Past week
- Any time
Narrower ranges may reduce available jobs but can help you apply earlier.
Auto-Apply Limit per Session
Auto-Apply Limit per Session controls the maximum number of applications the AI agent will submit during a single run.
Use a smaller number if you want to test the system.
Use a larger number if you want to apply at scale.
The session stops when the limit is reached.
Continuous Run
Continuous Run controls whether the AI agent stops after one session or keeps running.
OFF means the AI agent runs one session at a time.
ON means the AI agent can continue monitoring and applying while the system remains active.
Use Continuous Run if you want ongoing automation and can keep your desktop browser environment available.
Autopilot and Copilot modes
LiftmyCV supports two main AI agent modes.
Autopilot fills out and submits applications automatically on your behalf.
Copilot prepares applications and lets you review or adjust fields before submission.
Use Autopilot if you want maximum automation.
Use Copilot if you want more control.
Supported ATS platforms and job boards
LiftmyCV supports automation across selected ATS platforms and job boards.
Supported ATS platforms may include:
- Workable
- Lever
- Greenhouse
- Ashby
- BreezyHR
- SmartRecruiters
- Recruitee
- Workday
Supported job boards may include:
- Monster
- Wellfound
- Glassdoor
Supported platforms may vary by feature. Some workflows are cloud-based, while others require the Chrome extension.
Job board ordering
Non-stop Auto-Apply lets you choose which platforms the AI agent prioritizes.
You can reorder supported ATS platforms and job boards and decide which sources should be used first.
Use job board ordering if you want to prioritize specific platforms.
Excluded from auto-apply
You can remove job boards or ATS groups from the current auto-apply run.
Drag and drop job boards into the excluded area to remove them from auto-apply.
This helps you control where the AI agent applies.
First Apply
First Apply scans supported ATS platforms and job boards for fresh jobs, usually jobs posted within the last 24 hours.
It delivers matching openings by email.
Use First Apply if you want to:
- Discover fresh jobs early
- Apply before many other candidates
- Receive matching openings automatically
- Reduce manual job board searching
- Stay updated on new roles
First Apply works best when your profile, target roles, and filters are clear.
First Apply setup
To activate First Apply:
- Go to Auto-Apply
- Open the First & Stealth Apply tab
- Select employment type
- Select country
- Select city
- Set search accuracy
- Add target roles
- Choose Resume per Job if needed
- Choose whether to enable Stealth Apply
- Click Activate First Apply
Initial results may take time to appear. If your role is rare or filters are narrow, adjust your filters and allow more time for matches.
Stealth Apply
Stealth Apply works with First Apply.
When enabled, Stealth Apply submits applications fully autonomously through LiftmyCV cloud servers.
No Chrome extension is required.
Use Stealth Apply if you want LiftmyCV to auto-apply for you when fresh matching jobs are found.
When paired with First Apply, Stealth Apply helps you become one of the first candidates to apply.
Stealth Apply important note
Stealth Apply is an autonomous AI feature. It may occasionally fail or make mistakes because job boards and ATS platforms can change their application flows.
If LiftmyCV cannot submit an application, deducted Lifts may be restored when applicable.
You can track results in Auto-Apply History.
Why First Apply and Stealth Apply may require a subscription
First Apply and Stealth Apply require ongoing AI computing and server resources because LiftmyCV continuously searches for fresh job openings and matches them with your profile and resume.
These systems continue working after setup, so an active subscription may be required to enable them.
Auto-Apply Queue
The Auto-Apply Queue lets you collect jobs from the Job Board and let the AI agent process them.
Use the queue if you want to choose jobs manually before AI applies.
How to use Auto-Apply Queue

- Search or filter jobs
- Add selected jobs to the queue
- Go to Auto-Apply
- Open the Auto-Apply Queue tab
- Review queued jobs
- Select AI agent mode
- Choose Resume per Job if needed
- Set the auto-apply limit per session
- Run AI auto-apply
The Chrome extension is required to process the queue through your browser.
Queue selection mode
Selection mode lets you choose multiple jobs from the queue and remove them in bulk.
Use this if you want to clean up your queue quickly.
Free queue limit
Free users can add up to 10 jobs to the auto-apply queue.
LiftmyCV’s AI agent may submit one application for free so you can test autonomous auto-apply before upgrading.
To auto-apply to more jobs and unlock the full job search experience, upgrade your plan.
Custom Apply
Custom Apply lets you activate AI auto-apply directly on supported job boards using your own filters.
Use Custom Apply when you want to set filters directly on a job board instead of relying only on LiftmyCV’s internal job search.
For LinkedIn, Monster, Glassdoor, and Wellfound, automation works best with Easy Apply or native quick-apply jobs available directly on those platforms. Jobs that redirect to external websites, company career pages, or unsupported ATS platforms may not be completed through Custom Apply.
Supported Custom Apply workflows may include:
- LinkedIn Search
- LinkedIn Bookmarks
- Monster Search
- Wellfound Search
- Wellfound Bookmarks
- Glassdoor Search
- Glassdoor Bookmarks
The Chrome extension is required because the AI agent needs to operate inside your browser.

- Install the LiftmyCV Chrome extension
- Go to Auto-Apply
- Open the Custom Apply tab
- Choose a platform
- Set filters directly on the job board
- Select AI agent mode
- Select search accuracy
- Choose Resume per Job if needed
- Set the auto-apply limit per session

Do not interfere with the browser while the AI agent is operating.

Use Monster Search to apply to jobs from Monster search results.
Set your filters on Monster, then let the AI agent process matching jobs.

Use Wellfound Search to apply to jobs from Wellfound search results.
This can be useful for startup and tech-related roles.

Use Wellfound Bookmarks to apply to saved jobs on Wellfound.
Glassdoor Search

Use Glassdoor Bookmarks to apply to saved jobs on Glassdoor.
Resume tools
LiftmyCV has several resume workflows. They are not all the same.
The main resume workflows are:
- Profile-to-Resume

It can be used with workflows such as:
- AI Matches
- Non-stop Auto-Apply
- Auto-Apply Queue
- First & Stealth Apply
- Custom Apply, when supported
Use Resume per Job if you want each application to be more personalized.
This may require additional Lifts.

- You want to prepare before using auto-apply

When enabled, LiftmyCV can generate a customized cover letter for each job application during AI auto-apply.
The AI uses:
- Your job seeker profile
- Your resume
- The target job description
- Your experience and skills
Use this if you want each AI application to include a more personalized cover letter.
This may require additional Lifts.

Typical columns may include:
- Auto-applied
- Interviewing
- Offer
- Rejected
You can move jobs between columns as your hiring process progresses.
Use the tracker to keep your job search organized after AI submits applications.
Difference between Auto-Apply History and Job Application Tracker
Auto-Apply History shows what the AI agent did.
Job Application Tracker shows your job search pipeline.
Use Auto-Apply History to review logs and technical outcomes.
Use Job Application Tracker to manage progress after applying.
Failed auto-apply attempts
Sometimes LiftmyCV cannot complete an application.
This may happen because:
- The job was removed
- The ATS changed the application flow
- The job board blocked automation
- A required field could not be completed
- Captcha appeared
- Email verification was required
- Login was required
- A website error occurred
- The employer closed the position
When autonomous auto-apply fails, LiftmyCV may restore deducted Lifts when applicable.
You can continue applying to other jobs or retry with the Chrome extension.
Free auto-apply limit
Free users may receive one free autonomous auto-apply so they can test the service before upgrading.
After the free auto-apply is successfully completed, a paid plan may be required to continue applying with AI.
Lifts
Lifts are credits used for AI-powered actions inside LiftmyCV.
Different features use different numbers of Lifts depending on the amount of AI processing and automation involved.

- Resume generation
- Cover letter generation
- Resume-to-profile AI Autofill
- Job-specific resume generation

Troubleshooting
Chrome extension or AI Autofill is not working correctly
If the Chrome extension is detected but AI Autofill, resume upload, form filling, or auto-apply does not work as expected, another Chrome extension may be interfering with LiftmyCV.
This can happen with other job search tools, autofill tools, AI automation extensions, form fillers, ad blockers, privacy extensions, password managers, or extensions that modify web pages.
The most reliable fix is to create a new clean Chrome profile for LiftmyCV, install only the LiftmyCV Chrome extension, sign in to LiftmyCV, and run automation from that profile.
You can also try disabling or removing other Chrome extensions, then restarting Chrome and running the workflow again.
The AI agent stopped or failed during automation
If the AI agent stops, skips a step, uploads the wrong file, or fails to submit an application, check whether you interacted with the browser while automation was running.
Do not click buttons, type into fields, close tabs, refresh pages, change filters, or navigate away while the AI agent is working unless LiftmyCV specifically asks you to take action.
If the process was interrupted, restart the workflow and let the AI agent complete the application without manual interference.
I do not see enough jobs
Try broadening your filters.
You can:
- Select Any country
- Select Any city
- Lower AI Match threshold
- Use Broad Match
- Add more role titles
- Remove overly strict filters
- Check another job board
- Use First Apply for fresh jobs
AI Matches show low match scores
Improve your job seeker profile.
Add:
- More work experience details
- More skills
- Achievements
- Certifications
- Languages
- A stronger professional summary
- A complete resume
Also check that your target role matches your actual background.
Auto-apply failed
Auto-apply may fail due to ATS limitations, job board restrictions, removed jobs, captcha, email verification, login requirements, or changed application forms.
If Lifts were deducted and the application could not be completed, they may be restored when applicable.
Try another job or retry with the Chrome extension.
Chrome extension is not detected
Make sure you are using Google Chrome and the LiftmyCV Chrome extension is installed and enabled.
Refresh the page after installation.
If needed, restart Chrome.
Non-stop Auto-Apply does not start
Check that:
- You are on desktop
- You are using Chrome
- The Chrome extension is installed
- Your profile is complete
- You have a resume
- You have enough Lifts or an active plan
- Your filters are not too narrow
- You selected at least one supported platform
First Apply returns no jobs
Your filters may be too narrow, or there may be no fresh matching jobs in the last 24 hours.
Try:
- Adding more role titles
- Expanding location filters
- Lowering AI Match threshold
- Using broader search accuracy
- Waiting for new jobs to appear
Stealth Apply does not submit applications
Stealth Apply depends on cloud automation and supported job flows.
It may fail if:
- The job was removed
- The ATS changed
- The employer requires manual verification
- The job board blocks automation
- Required fields cannot be completed
Check Auto-Apply History for details.
Resume output is weak
Improve your profile before generating a resume.
Add:
- Stronger achievements
- Measurable results
- More detailed experience
- More relevant skills
- Certifications
- Better role descriptions
Then regenerate the resume.
Cover letter output is too generic
Make sure your profile is complete and paste a detailed job description.
The more specific the job description and profile data, the better the cover letter.
